How fast are the karts at Speeders?
Our 20-horsepower electric prokarts can reach speeds of over 70 km per hour—the fastest in the industry.
What is the difference between your karts and other gas or electric go karts?
Our karts are the most powerful rental kart on the market. Produced by a company dedicated to pure electric for over 25 years, no other electric product comes close to the speed and power they provide. The major difference between gas and electric is the power source. Our electric propulsion karts accelerate faster, smoother and generally offer more consistent performance than other electric variations and even gas-powered engines. Additionally, they produce zero emissions or smells. These karts will also keep you and the race track clean because there is no gas or oil that could spill onto the track.
What is ProSpeed and how do I try it?
ProSpeed unlocks the full power of our electric karts. Customers who have completed 5 or more clean races are eligible to take their ProSpeed test. After completing the test with no spinouts or collisions, you can race in our ProSpeed races!
Is racing at Speeders safe?
Speeders takes every measure possible to ensure all customers enjoy an authentic racing experience in a safe environment. All our karts are routinely serviced and our barrier system is the safest in the industry. All races are proactively monitored by a trained marshal, and any driver found to not be racing responsibly can either have their kart speed decreased remotely or can be ejected from the race. Prior to each race, every new driver is required to watch short video which covers track safety, rules, flag and sign meanings and kart operation. In addition, each racer is required to wear a DOT approved helmet equipped with a visor or goggles (provided for each racer).
Is my Elite Account still active?
If you are unsure if your Elite Account is still active, a simple phone call or trip to your local Speeders is all you will need to do. The receptionist will be able to pull up your information and let you know if your account is still active or has expired.

Each race is 14 laps and takes approximately 8-10 minutes from sit to stand. Time can vary depending on the skill of the drivers and whether there are any stoppages during the race. The race ends when the fastest kart completes 14 laps. Events vary in time depending on how many people are in the event and how many races each person is doing.
